Dr Wesley Bierman is a consultant psychiatrist, with subspecialist training in child and adolescent psychiatry.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from University of Queensland in 2016, going on to work as a junior doctor in Queensland Health, where he also undertook his psychiatry and subspecialist training through the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), attaining his fellowship in 2024. He completed a significant portion of his training at Children's Health Queensland (CHQ), for which he was awarded a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. His psychiatric practice has foundations in his prior studies, having completed in 2011 a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (2011), and in 2012 an Honours in Applied Science (first class) through the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

Throughout his training and subsequent work as a consultant psychiatrist, Dr Bierman has worked across all ages in multiple health services in south east Queensland, including Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Toowoomba, also having experience in supporting patients in regional and remote Queensland via telepsychiatry. Dr Bierman takes pride in undertaking warm, comprehensive, developmentally informed, holistic psychiatric assessments.
